The commander of the Glorious Army of the Architect is a very powerful, volatile, and excessively violent Denizen. Sir Thursday, the keeper of the Fourth Key to the Kingdom, might not be particularly handsome or all that tall, but nobody disobeys his direct orders and expects to get away with it.
Leaf
Brave, resourceful and determined, Leaf has been helping Arthur since his adventures in the House began. Now it appears she is the only one who might be able to defeat the Skinless Boy. But will she be in time to save Arthur, and the whole world, from destruction?
The Skinless Boy
According the Compleat Atlas of the House a ‘Spirit-eater’ is a type of Nithling sent to duplicate and replace a person, ‘usually for the purposes of espionage, treachery, or other foul deeds’. No wonder Arthur is panicked when he discovers a Spirit-eater calling itself The Skinless Boy has invaded his place in the world.
Fred Initial Numbers Gold
A fellow Recruit in the Great Army of the Architect, the cheerful Fred quickly befriends Arthur. Fred is optimistic about the Army and is looking forward to the change from his nitpicking job of applying gold leaf to the numbers in important House documents. Fred knows all sorts of useful things, especially about the process of washing between the ears...
