Daisy
A beastwort the size of a small car with hundreds of foot-long legs under its central torso and three big tentacles thirty foot long. The top of its main body has some kind of sensory organ consisting of hundreds of pale yellow anemonelike tendrils swirling around a darker yellow orb, resembling a daisy. It is resistant to gun fire and knife attacks and wears a collar with a braided lead attached to it. It is controlled by a Denizen called the Reaper but its destiny lies with Leaf.

 

Giac
A Sorcerous Supernumerary who is guarding Suzy Turquoise Blue after she's captured by the Artful Loungers. He is bored, unappreciated and anxious about the Piper's impending attack. He happily accepts Suzy's invitation to play a game of checkers with her since it's been a long time since he's had any fun. After much encouragement by a very persuasive Suzy, Giac starts getting ideas about switching sides.

 

Major Penhaligon
Arthur's older brother who is a soldier overseeing the clean-up of the East Area Hospital after the Nuclear spill. He's been trying to track the whereabouts of his family since the incident and adjusting to the sightings of weird creatures that seem to come from another world. When he first meets Leaf he is doubtful of the existence of Friday's hospital and her claim that there are people there that need help, but what he encounters there will be a rude awakening.
