An (In)Compleat Atlas of the House
An incomplete guide to some of the places, objects and creatures of the House and Secondary Realms.
Wings
A means of short-distance travel within the House. When used they often possess an angelic quality (white and feathered) but can have other appearances.
There are also different types of wings. Cheaper, paper-made wings are temporary, disposable and unidirectional and can only be partially controlled by the user. Higher quality wings can be taken on and off at will and controlled by telepathy. Some even have special abilities like being able to generate invisibility or shed light.
Wings are banned from certain areas of the House because of air-borne hazards.
