Winged Servants of the Night
Winged Servants of the Night patrol the Middle House during the night, protecting against Nithling incursions and stopping unauthorized travellers.
They wear full bodysuits of leathery black armour; webbed gauntlets; black, crow-shaped wings; and beaked helmets with long, open snouts.
They can hear, but they can't speak and so communicate in a form of sign language.
Fred Initial Numbers Gold once hoped to grow up to be a Winged Servant of the Night.
