Lieutenant Keeper's sword
The weapon of the Lieutenant Keeper which he uses to guard the Front Door from Nithlings.
It attaches itself to its keeper by fastening its golden braid around the keeper's wrist and flooding the keeper's senses with the very presence of the Front Door and all its intruders. It has a life of its own and is able to fiercely defend against Nithlings as well as guide its keeper in whichever direction the keeper points to.
